Golf Instruction
Some of the most affordable golf instruction is available at Lost Creek Golf Club. Lessons are provided by Head Golf Professional Shawn Burchfield., who has been at Lost Creek for 6 years now. He’s mostly known for his involvement in golf instruction geared toward juniors. For several years now he has conducted junior clinics and coached a high school golf team. In the past, he has learned aspects from PGA Professional Ed Perrino and USGTF Teaching Professional Chris Meals. It is through these experiences that he has become a teacher to golfers of all ages and abilities.
In his lessons, Shawn stresses fundamentals so improvement is accomplished without completely changing a player’s swing. This method is highly successful because of its simplicity and importance.
One individual lesson will last approximately 45 minutes at a cost of only $30.00 for an adult and $25.00 for juniors (Ages 17-under). Playing lessons are at an option to the player for the same cost. Group instruction can be arranged so that you can enjoy learning with friends. Junior Camps will be available in the summer. Appointments can be made by calling the golf shop (717) 463-2450, or by stopping in while in the area. Lessons are only available between the months of April and October(weekdays only) and must be redeemed by October 15th.
